Best Value Senior Living Community in Los Angeles | CityView

A Place to Call Home

Home really is one of the nicest words, and when you enter CityView, you’ll know you’ve found it right here. A healthy, dynamic and satisfying lifestyle awaits seniors at our upscale residence. CityView is large enough to offer ample opportunity for socializing and small enough that you won’t feel like you’re living in a big chain community.

Conveniently Situated in the Heart of LA

Our beautifully decorated senior community is adjacent to Beverly Hills and Hollywood, close to freeways, Cedars-Sinai, Kaiser, and area places of worship. Residents enjoy living in one of the most desirable areas in all of Southern California amid an abundance of classic Los Angeles architecture, landmarks and attractions including The Grove, the Original Farmer's Market and Museum Row. , Our Mid-City location makes it as easy to get to the beach as it is to get downtown affording CityView residents the opportunity to take advantage of the best of LA.

Locally Owned and Operated

CityView is one of three locally-owned sister communities located in Mid-City, each with its own personality and features, but all sharing the common goal of service excellence. Garden of Palms is our Kosher community located on Fairfax Avenue with 65 suites of assisted living and memory care. Melrose Gardens is our quieter, residential community with 40 well appointed units on Martel Avenue. CityView is our newest property with 50 upscale Assisted Living apartments and 30 Memory Care studios. They are all run by a local management team who are committed to providing responsive care to you and your loved one.

Choices in Senior Living

CityView offers a range of living options including independent, assisted living, and memory care. The Court is CityView's separate Memory Care wing that provides a safe living environment for those residents with Alzheimer’s, and other related forms of memory loss. The 3rd floor is dedicated to caring for residents with early stage memory loss. The 4th floor serves the needs of those in the later stages of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

We Look Forward to Meeting You.

Our Staff

Avi Heyman

Executive Director

Executive Director, Avi Heyman was born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, just blocks away from City View. Spending his weekends visiting with the CityView residents, inspired Avi to continue on a path of caring and providing the highest quality of life for everyone despite their age, disability or needs. Volunteering throughout his teen years helping children with developmental disabilities and those suffering from terminal illnesses further inspired Avi to work in an industry that allowed him to continue caring for others. In 2009 Avi entered the assisted living industry, joining his family-owned community of facilities, beginning at an entry position, and quickly working his way up to the position of Executive Director. Avi believes that running an Assisted Living community is not just a job, but a calling and because it’s an experience he loves, he takes a hands-on approach getting involved in every aspect of the community. For Avi, caring for your family members is never something to be taken lightly, and he takes every step to ensure that their care is being properly provided. The greatest part of the job for Avi is being able to interact with, learn from and be inspired by the residents and he enjoys nothing more than sitting down with residents to hear their life stories and histories. Aging is often a confusing and challenging journey, but through his years of experience in the assisted living industry, Avi has developed a deep understanding of his residents’ needs and he invites those looking for a better Assisted Living option for themselves or loved ones to come down any time to chat or pick his brain.
